Question by serioussamp: How do i set up dolby pro logic with my laptop?
I have a grundig ampy thingy with dolby pro logic. it has an aux in and i have my laptop plugged into that by indicates of a mini jack stereo cable. But i have fiddled with the settings and i cant get it to perform surround sound. I only get sound out of my appropriate hand speakers. I know they are all operating properly since when i swith it to inbuilt tape player it is suitable surround sound. Any suggestions?

I can not inderstand your due to the fact it is riddled with technological innacuracies. Tape decks do not help surround sound at all, I am assuming that your speaking of only sound comming out of the right channel rather then in suitable stereo (left and correct channel) if this is the case you need to have to chek your cables and settings, if you are trying to get surround sound from a laptop you have the wrong cable you need to have a SPDIF-Digital Coax cable and your laptop should help digital SPDIF also, this is sually combined with the headphone jack on laptops.
