This is a large desktop, measuring about 10.5″ wide with the outriggers. Manufacturer’s packaging is excellent – no damage during shipment from Amazon. Here’s what’s really cool about this machine:
- Four USB ports right up font near the top, easy to access, and easy to find when you need to plug in an Ipod or other device. Add another USB port up front on the multi-in-one card reader, and 6 more in the back. That’s 11 USB ports!
- Super quite operation. I mean really quite – there is no sound at all coming from this machine.
- Hot-swap-able front loading bays for 3 additional hard drives. Adding an internal back-up drive could not be easier – no excuse now, gotta back-up more frequently.
- The outrigger flip-up front cover is very cool, both in terms of its looks and function. With the lid down, the optical drive bays are protected – have you ever bumped your knee against the machine, and have the drive door open up, right in the middle of a game? The front cover keeps that from happening.

I got this for a replacement for a MACPRO that I sold. The quality of the system is PERFECT in and OUT! Love the hot swapable bays! System came packed GREAT! No damage from the Amazon shipping! System is quiet and VERY WELL BUILT! SOLID in and OUT! I fly with Micosoft FSX and this thing runs it perfect! Fastest system out there now! Price is right and I give this 2 thumbs up! Great Job Acer & Amazon !!!!! A++++++
